The Kathy Anne Adair Art Prize is an annual prize awarded to an artist with complex needs who has exhibited in the Creative Connections Art & Poetry Exhibition and  has shown considerable improvement.

Kathy Adair was one of the first artists to exhibit with Creative Connections Art & Poetry Exhibitions and was a regular contributor. Unfortunately, Kathy passed away in 2016.

Kathy  had  a gentle nature which surfaced in her artworks. She enjoyed experimenting with brushes of various types and sizes and with ink and watercolour creating  her subtle but whimsical paintings. She enjoyed listening to music while moving her brush to the rhythm, often bringing a sociable, happy, playful aspect to the art workshops. Her smile will be missed.
